Meg Haston Recaps “How To Rock a Love Song”

Well, it’s about time. Ever since How to Rock first aired back in February, I’ve been waiting for some hint of an on-air spark between Zander and Kacey. In How to Rock Break-Ups and Make-Ups, the upcoming sequel to How to Rock Braces and Glasses, we get to see what happens with Zander and Kacey’s relationship. Will they? Won’t they?

So I was super excited when How to Rock a Love Song hinted that Zander might be crushing on Kacey. Of course, the episode also hinted that Zander might be crushing on Stevie. Which made this week’s episode one of the most entertaining, nail-biting, I CAN’T TAKE THE SUSPENSE ANYMORE-episode yet.

If you missed it, here’s the recap: Kacey and Stevie learn that Zander has been writing a love song for a special lady. After sneaking a peek at the lyrics, both girls are convinced that the song’s about them. They go to crazy lengths to make themselves un-crushable (eating onions, throwing on seriously grungy sweats and messing up their hair), only to find out that Zander’s love song is a song written for his dog, Lady!

Below are some of the most rockin’ moments from the episode. Were your favorite moments the same as mine? Let me know in the comments below!

Nail-Biting Moment: Confession: Kacey and Stevie weren’t the only girls who thought Zander’s love song was written for one of them. I was completely fooled! And I couldn’t wait to find out the true identity of Zander’s crush. So I was just as shocked as the girls when I learned that the object of Zander’s affection was, um… a dog.

Oh-No-They-Didn’t Moment: I couldn’t believe that Kacey and Stevie violated Zander’s trust by reading his love song lyrics even when he asked them not to! Okay, I could totally believe it. Will these girls never learn? But even though it was a serious no-no for Kacey and Stevie to go behind Zander’s back like they did—I love that we can see their friendship growing more and more in every episode. They may disagree or get a little catty, but we can tell they really care about each other. Get it, girls!

I hope you guys loved this episode as much as I did!

Rock on,

The Zune focuses on being any Portable Press Player. Not a internet browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the foreseeable future it’ll do best of all in people areas, but for the time being it’s a fantastic way to organize and tune in to your audio and video tutorials, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s skills are it’s web surfing around and apps. If those sound a lot more compelling, perhaps it’s your most suitable choice.
